NEW YORK \/ TORONTO (October 10, 2019)<\/strong> \u2013 The 2019 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic\u2122 between the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 26, in Regina, Saskatchewan will feature a lineup of musical performers with roots in the Western Canada province. Rock band The Sheepdogs<\/strong>, award-winning country singer Jess Moskaluke<\/strong> and country music group Hunter Brothers<\/strong> will perform during the regular-season outdoor game, which will be televised live at 8 p.m. MT \/ 10 p.m. ET on SN1, CBC, City and TVAS2 in Canada and on NBCSN in the U.S.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The formal game day festivities will begin with the Opening Ceremony presented by SiriusXM <\/strong>featuring a performance by Jess Moskaluke <\/strong>joined by the Hunter Brothers<\/strong> with a special appearance by Cadets and Officers of the Royal Canadian Mounted\u200e\u00a0Police from both Regina\u2019s Training Academy and Saskatchewan\u2019s “F” Division.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The anthem ceremony will feature Hunter Brothers\u2019<\/strong> rendition of the Canadian national anthem; the unfurling of the Canadian flag by 50 members of the Canadian Armed Forces from Regina and Moose Jaw, including the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army and the Royal Canadian Air Force.; and a flyover by a CC-130H\u00a0Hercules aircraft<\/em> from the 435 Transport and Rescue Squadron based in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In celebration of past trailblazers and the promising future of indigenous hockey in Canada, Fred Sasakamoose<\/strong>, one of the first indigenous players in the NHL; Brigette Lacquette<\/strong>, the first indigenous woman on Canada\u2019s Olympic Women\u2019s Ice Hockey Team; and two local youth hockey players will take part in a ceremonial puck drop.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first intermission is presented by Ticketmaster<\/strong> and will feature a performance by the multiplatinum-selling band, The Sheepdogs<\/strong>. JUNO Award winner Jess Moskaluke <\/strong>will return to the stage for a performance during the second intermission. Throughout the game, Canadian supergroup, Toque<\/strong>, will serve as the house band and will treat fans to a set list of classic Canadian hits.<\/p>\n

NHL Network\u2122 and NHL.com will provide extensive coverage live from the event leading up to and after the game. NHL Social\u2122 will have exclusive coverage on all social platforms, including the use of the official hashtag NHL #HeritageClassic.<\/p>\n

Armed Forces Network will broadcast the game on AFN|sports2 channel on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 9 a.m. ET to 168 countries and territories, including U.S. military installations, U.S. embassies and consulates and aboard more than 140 U.S. Naval ships at sea positioned outside of U.S. territorial waters.<\/p>\n

About Hunter Brothers<\/u><\/p>\n

Hunter Brothers, seven-time CCMA Award nominees, and six-time SCMA Award winners, released their sophomore album,\u00a0State of Mind <\/em>earlier in 2019.
